Bakit Ipinagdiriwang ang Buwan ng Wika?

Buwan ng Agosto ay buwan ng pagdiriwang ng wikang Filipino. Ito isang espesyal na buwan para sa mga Pilipino. 

Sa buwang ito, ginugunita ang ating pagka-Pilipino, ang pagkakaroon ng sariling wika na Wikang Filipino na walang takot na ipinaglaban ng ating ama ng wika—ang dating pangulong si Manuel Luis Quezon. 

Sa taong ito, “Ang Filipino ay Wikang Panlahat, Ilaw at Lakas sa Tuwid na Landas.” Inihahatid nito na mas lalo pang pag-ibayuhin ang paggamit ng wikang sariling atin.

Ang pagdiriwang ng buwan ng wika ay hindi lamang pagbabalik tanaw sa kasaysayan ng wika, anong artikulo ang nagpapatibay sa wika at kung sino ang ama ng wikang pambasa bagkus inaalala din dito ang iba’t ibang kultura, tradisyon at paniniwala ng bawat mamamayang Pilipino. 

Ang Buwan ng Wika ay isang pagdiriwang sa Pilipinas na ginaganap tuwing buwan ng Agosto. Ito ang pinalawig na pagdiriwang ng Linggo ng Wika na pinalawig noong Enero 15, 1997 sa pamamagitan ng Proklamasyong Bilang 1041 ni dating Pangulong Fidel V. Ramos. Kadalasang ipinagdiriwang ang Buwan ng Wika sa mga paaralan. Kaugnay nito, maraming mga kaganapan ang ginagawa upang ipagdiwang ito, gaya ng sabayang pagbigkas, balagtasan, paggawa ng slogan, paggawa ng mga sanaysay pagbigkas ng mga tula, pagsasayaw ng mga katutubong sayaw at pag-awit ng mga katutubong awit.

You can easily change the formatting of selected text in the document text by choosing a look for the selected text from the Quick Styles gallery on the Home tab. You can also format text directly by using the other controls on the Home tab. Most controls offer a choice of using the look from the current theme or using a format that you specify directly.

To change the overall look of your document, choose new Theme elements on the Page Layout tab. To change the looks available in the Quick Style gallery, use the Change Current Quick Style Set command. Both the Themes gallery and the Quick Styles gallery provide reset commands so that you can always restore the look of your document to the original contained in your current template.
